" Free Bird" - Peter Malick Peter was the guitarist/conductor of the National Touring Co. of "HAIR" when I toured with that company from 1970-1973. Later, in L.A., we shared a home together with our wives and daughters. It was then Peter asked me to carve his old faithful Strat which he still plays some 25 plus years later. His daughter, Mercy's name is worked into the design of the feathers under the wing.   Link to Peter's site
