KAYS TREE

This tree is in the home of Kay Lenz. She commissioned it in 1973. It took about 8 months to complete. Made of red oak, it covers a wall and extends down the stair case.

This desk was designed by Ali Chang Ma, based on one, designed by Hector Guimar, which is in the Louvre in Paris. It was commissioned by John Meekom of Houston, owner of the New Orleans Saints. I did the carving, but construction was by master carpenter, Stan Stronks, Inviron Workshop, Culver City, Ca. .. walnut frame with maple panels.
