MALLORY - STRAT
Fender Stratocaster - carved for Lee Mallory
This is the second guitar I carved. I did
it for my roomate, Lee, in 1969. The first was for Brian Cole and was later
bought by Mike Botts, who had me re-do it. So this really the earliest one...
still as it was when I did it.
The body is decorated with many symbols (having to do with
astrology, astronomy and alchemy) acsentuated by massive baroque scroll
work. The pick guard is black on white, carrying the "Mallory coat
of arms".
